While visiting the Milwaukee Art Museum, I came across a piece of art entitled "The Janitor." This structure was supposed to symbolize an older man who had just lost his job. I could tell, because of his hopeless look on his face and his stressful glare at the ground beneath him. Other people were startled by this piece. They said that it was "creepy" and "weird." Why do they say this? They figure that this man is some type of serial killer or something, just because he is aged and has on some glasses. You see, if this was a younger man with bright blue eyes and strong muscles, would they be saying this about him? No. it is not his fault that he looks like this. He could be a very good man. You see, looks are not everything. Take Andy Evens from the book "Speak," by Laurie Halse Anderson. He was a very attractive guy, but turned out to be a repulsive, disgusting boy. If todays society, they make you think that looks are everything. But to be quite frank, that statement is totally misleading.
